科学技術で人命救助

世界の国々に感謝

今も、日本だけでなく世界中で天災や火事、事故などの災害が起きています。そして、2011年の東日本大震災では、救援活動中にとても多くの人が亡くなりました。災害の時に、このような人たちを守ることはできないのでしょうか。もし、科学技術がもっと発達していれば、その人たちは助かったかもしれません。

例えば、津波が来るという事で、水門を閉めに行ったり、見回りに行った人たちがいます。そこで、私は、水門に複数の監視カメラを設置し、水門をリモートコントロールできるようにすれば、誰も現場に行く必要がなくなると思うのです。

また、避難誘導のために命を落とした人たちもいます。私たちは、人がいなくても自動的に動くより進んだ警報と放送のシステムを持つべきだと思います。そうすれば、交通の流れを上空から分析して、ラジオや携帯電話を通して、人々に適切な避難経路を知らせることができるからです。

さらに、老人ホームや幼稚園の介護士の人たちがパワースーツを使えば、お年寄りや小さい子供たちを抱いたりおんぶしたりしてすばやく運ぶことができ、介護士さんたち自身も助かることができると思います。

このように、科学技術の発展は、社会におおいに貢献できるのです。そして、私たちが一生懸命勉強すれば、それも実現が可能になると思います。

科学技術が発展して、安心な世の中になればよいなと思います。

Science and Technology Saves Human Lives

Natural disasters, fires, and accidents are happening in Japan and around the world.
And many people lost their lives in rescue activities during the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami in 2011.
Isn’t there any way to protect people in such cases with the power of science?
People would have been safer if science and technology had been more developed.

For example, some people went to the floodgate to close it or went around the town after getting information about the coming tsunami. So I think some remotely controlled monitoring cameras should be set up at the gate, so that no one needs to go there anymore.

Also, some people died while giving evacuation instructions. We should have a more advanced alarm and broadcasting system that automatically works without risking people`s lives. Transportation should be monitored and analyzed from safe areas so that people can receive proper directions of the evacuation routes on their radios or cellphones.

In addition, if caregivers at nursing homes or kindergartens have access to robot technology devices, they can swiftly carry old people and small children in their arms or on their backs and save their own lives.

So, I can say development of technology contributes a lot to society.

I do hope our technology will make the world a safer place. And I’m sure we can realize it by studying hard.
